Last night my sweet baby girl was fussy and restless. She would latch on my breast for a few moments before unlatching to just cry. At one point, her face was close to mine and she sucked my cheek in ferociously. In my exhaustion and relief at the silence, I allowed her to suck for maybe ten seconds before I realized I was having a major lapse in judgement. Now I have to live with a hickey directly on my face.
