Tentatively ecstatic

Went for a 10 week US yesterday. I was sooo nervous after having found out at my 10 week scan with my first pregnancy that there was no heartbeat and my baby had stopped growing at 9 1/2 weeks.

I was so happy seeing the baby at the right size! I actually finally got to hear the heartbeat which is now my favorite sound in this world. And, it was wriggling around like crazy! Such an active little thing already!

I feel so much better now, but I’m still a bit worried. I don’t know if that will ever go away, but I just needed to share this wonderful picture of my active little rainbow! 🌈
