Cartoon crushes

I was talking to a coworker of mine and we were talking about our childhoods and what not. I told her about how my older sister and I would crush over male characters on cartoons.

She laughed and said she'd think of herself as a perv when she got older thinking about herself swooning over guys who don't even really exist especially since some of them are barely teens. I wasn't offended or anything but it did sting a bit. My top four characters were Robin from Teen Titans, Danny from Danny Phantom, Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh, and Shun from Bakugan.

She called my sister and I little pervs and said we were weird and wackos. As I said I wasn't offended or anything so I just laughed it off. But it did get me thinking, is it really that strange? I was a 10 year old girl crushing over a guy on a cartoon show. Fight me.

What do y'all think? I know this isn't really controversial but I figured it was more lighthearted then what we usually discuss.
