Sooo AF was supposed to come on Friday 11/3. I was going to be out all day with my mom and sister at this giant Texas flea market and was worried it would come and I'd be screwed. Every time going to the bathroom.. AF? Nope. A few days ago I said to my husband, this old pregnancy test I have if my period doesn't come I might as well take it for fun cause it's old and I need to just throw it away. Get home from all day at the market and a baby shower that night, about to get to bed, poor husband is exhausted, and I say well I'm going to take it, we'll see what happens then go to bed, really not thinking much about it... my periods have always been irregular. I go to take it, realize it expired 11/2016, still like whatever I'll take it..... WHHATTTT?! 😲😲😳Clearly positive!!

So I run to my husband who is barely awake... Babe! Uh Look. (He doesn't know how to read it 🙄 lol) I explain well despite it being expired it's positive. Sooo... I guess I'm going to Walmart to buy more tests right now!!

I buy the 3 pack of test and take another that night and another in the morning and... POSITIVE!!! Ahh!! Totally can't believe it!!

So Saturday I have another baby shower to go to with my mom, meanwhile knowing I just got 3 positive pregnancy tests but don't want to say anything. At the shower, My brother's wife's mom asked me "So your next, when are you guys going to have babies?" (We just got married 7/15/17 and I'm screaming inside cause her question lol my mom is right next to me) I say "Uhhh I don't know, I guess we will see what happens, whenever it happens I guess" 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️💀 haha

Take the last test Sunday morning and still clearly positive! 😁 So then we come to the decision on Sunday afternoon that when we go to my parents for dinner tonight for my husband's birthday dinner we will tell my parents, sister, and brother and his wife (brother & wife are having their first baby due 11/22). So we finally decide what we are going to say...

Me: "Oh I just can't wait for Christmas to be here, all of our family from Canada will be here, and we will have the new baby here..."

And my husband jumps in and says: "Oh and don't forget about the other new baby that's on the way..."

....then wait for them to freak.... 😆

So my brother was sick so they didn't make it to the dinner, but we went through and told my parents and sister... they flipped 😆 and were like "wait what, wait what, what did you say, huh what other baby?" My husband said this baby and points at me. They say YOU are pregnant?!? What! They couldn't believe it, I showed them the 4 tests, they also didn't know how to read them 🙄😆 so I had to explain but they are real excited and that makes me happy.

My husband and I just got married 7-15-2017 but have been together for almost 8 years, and just bought our first house 1.5 years ago. We are so excited that we are going to have a baby but still cannot wrap our heads around it. I have my first doc appointment scheduled for Friday 11/10 and I'm excited but nervous and anxious. My mind is kind of spinning and I know this is just the beginning of this long and exciting road.
