Children barred from restaurants?
Saw an article on FB about a pizza joint in FL that has posted a "No children" notice. The owner says they've had issues in the past with unruly kids ending up in potentially dangerous situations and this the result. How do you feel about this practice?
While I love kids, I feel it's not only the right if the business to do this but it also makes sense in some situations. Many parents are just awful about being mindful of their kids in public places and while they may be used to and therefore fine with ignoring their kids being loud and/or running around, a lot of people are not. I feel strongly that if your kid is making a scene, or incapable of staying in their seat, you take them outside. As one of 5 kids, that's what my parents did and they used to get complimented all the time on our good behavior (because we knew the expectations going in and the consequences if we didn't meet them).
BUT some people are arguing that kids will be kids, other people shouldn't be so uptight, what about kids with disabilities, etc. Thoughts?
