Contraction feeling?

How do real contractions compare to Braxton hicks? As in, the way they feel. Where does it hurt when you’re in labor? Does your vagina ever hurt or only in belly? Or... everywhere? 😭

Braxton Hicks makes your stomach get all tight and can take your breath away. But doesn’t last more than 15-30 seconds I would say.
Real contractions feel like bad intestinal cramps. Like if someone was taking your intestines and twisting them. There’s a definite difference.

belly, they hurt like a bitch. at first it isn't bad, i just basically strained through each one from 1cm to 7 when I got epidural..my regret is not getting it earlier!!!

Braxton hicks can hurt really bad but if they aren't consistent, you can sleep through them, they stop if you change activity, or if your abdomen isn't getting hard than it's not real labor.
