My baby’s face doesn’t look normal to me??

I don’t know if his face is normal or not  I’ve seen many other ultrasounds and they are extremely different. He’s a boy. Does anyone else’s look like this?

Well, you're looking at the bone structure that makes up your babies face. Your baby isn't full term yet, and those bones have a whole lot more growing and forming to do. If something looked off, your tech or doctor would have looked into it.

Don’t stress. 5 kids in and I’ve always worried about how my babies look. This one is stubborn and constantly has their face turned away. At my last growth and well being scan the tech asked why I looked so worried and I said because I don’t think he has a face. She laughed so hard she had to take a break.

This was my son at 12 weeks, his head was really square and I feel like he looked like a little monkey 😅

Then this was him at 20 weeks, with a perfectly round head looking much more like a baby!

I feel that way too . Idk at 14 weeks it seems like other ultrasound pictures look more defined idk how to explain it  . I’m pretty sure there’s nothing to worry about with neither of our babies . But it’s crosses me mind as well

That’s what my boy looked like early on. At my 20 week scan he looked normal

All you see in an ultrasound is the bone structure, organs 
and placenta and umbilical cord. You don't really see the true facial structure. Here is my ultrasound and here is my baby after he is born. Totally different

They always look a little odd early on, but they’re heads round out the further along you get. (:
