Currently getting admitted

I damn near lost my mind in labor y’all. I’ve always said I wasn’t gonna try epidural again because it never worked twice before but those pains were kickin my ass. Before I feed I’ll give a little birth story. So I was very determined to have my son today like extremely determined. I came in got checked and found out I was at 3 cm I was like yes🙌🏾 they admit me and instantly break my water after the water was broken co traction’s were every 2 minuets and STRONG and i was only at 4 cm 😪I couldn’t do it so I tried laboring in the whirlpool ended up getting sick so back to bed they checked me again and I was still at 4 😫my nurse offered the epidural and I didn’t know what to do I didn’t want to be bedridden but I was willing to take a risk and see if third time was the charm so I took it. I literally would have died if I didn’t. So I took it and to my surprise it worked. By the way at this point I havent slept for 24+ hours. So i took a rest until my nurse came and checked me i was at 9 cm😕 i was like really 🤔 so we started getting ready to push and by this time I was exhausted y’all i had no energy to push😩 somewhere somehow I managed to push him out and at that moment nothing else matters. This is baby number 3 for me and I’m still amazed at what we women can do in terms of giving life. Anyhow my baby Prince Jeremiah was born at 12:43 weighing 8 lbs 9 oz just one ounce shy of his sister. I’m still in disbelief with myself and what happened tonight. I love him like he’s always been a part of me 😪

oh and he was Born 39 weeks exactly. I was 2cm and 30% effaced this morning. Try thyme tea for those that want to kick the contractions into gear. I had two cups strong and black today. Labor lasted 4 hours 👌🏾
