Is he right?

So I've been having weird spotting this week. I've got about 9 days until my period though. I've been paranoid that it's implantation, but I'm not trying to get pregnant so I've been hoping it's not. Well I'm someone who vapes. I went camping this weekend and my ecig died. So I just smoked a couple cigarettes to get me through. I had 3 total for the whole weekend. He's been judging me and saying I'm going to kill our kid when I don't even know if I'm pregnant or not. He freaked out when he saw me light one and he was yelling. Is he right to be so angry about a couple cigarettes when I don't even know if I'm pregnant or not?
