Does he really love me??

So first I love my bf but this past week has opened my eyes to something. We've have been dating for four years and are each other's first everything's. My bf is in the process of applying to grad schools/jobs/internships etc. we are long distance currently and idk if he will end up where I am. I haven't been too bias since where I am doesn't have many opportunities for him. He's procrastinating on everything and confessed how he hates change. This got me thinking he has worked the same job since he was 13 (now 22), lives in the same town (his parents choice but still), stayed at the same college for 4 years, had the same routine. I on the otherhand hate the same thing I have moved to 3 different places, transferred colleges and had different jobs. I feel life is too short to be stuck somewhere. Well now I'm worried that a huge reason my bf stays with me is cause he's comfortable. Does that make sense? I honestly think that even if he wasn't happy with me he wouldn't break up because he's scared of any type of change. Has anyone felt like this. I told him how I felt and he thinks it's crazy, but agrees he doesn't want to have to date anyone else. Even though I love him and want to marry it's not like I don't talk to guys or have guy friends(nothing inappropriate and none that I would want to date/end my relationship). How do I find out if he's with me just cause I'm comfortable?
