Have you had a vbac?

We found out we’re pregnant with baby #3. I️ have had 2 c-sections. The first one my baby got stuck, with the second baby, vbac was never brought up. The dr said from the first appt that I️ would have a c- section. It never crossed my mine to even ask about a vbac. Have you lady’s had one? What was your experience like?

Hi Tiffany,  I am a Labor & Delivery Nurse. Can you elaborate a little more on your baby got stuck? Did you made it to 10 cm and you were pushing? The head was in a bad position? The baby was too big? The shoulder got stuck?

Some doctors will let women vba2c but most will not due to the slight increase in risk of separation. I'm planning my vbac with my current pregnancy. Fingers crossed

I don't know if you can have a vbac after 2 sections.

I'm approved to have one, but I had 2 vaginal births and then a c section. They're letting me do it only because I previously had successful vaginal births and I was responsive to pitocin. They otherwise would make me have another c section.  But I can't deliver at the hospital where I delivered my other 3 kids, because that hospital doesn't allow them under any circumstance. Since you've had 2 c sections, you may not be able to do a vbac and your dr/hospital may not do them, you'll need to talk to your dr if it's a possibility.
