Does anyone else have a super long cycle?

Mine is about 40 days or more each month and it is making it so hard to tell when I️ am actually “late” or determining an estimated ovulation time... I’ve taken ovulation tests for a week and it shows positive for ovulation in different shades of lines so I’m confused. How can I️ figure this out easier?!

i have 38 day cycles that can fluctuate by about a week +/- so the only way I have been able to determine when I'm actually ovulating is to check my cervix, I do it twice a day starting a week after AF ends, when it gets higher and my mucus goes from creamy to stretchy and cloudy/clear I know it's BDing time and we try to BD every other day using preseed until AF comes. if you want to use opks I would suggest you check your cervix and when it rises and the mucus starts to get stretchy then use your opk, also try a digital, they are so much easier to read than the line ones. I could never get an accurate read on the non digitals.
