Obviously some jobs have to keep going through Christmas like emergency services. But my boyfriend just works at a pub/restaurant. So he isn't allowed to go home to see his own family over Christmas as he can't get time off. Plus on Christmas Day he can't even come and have Christmas Dinner with my family as his pub opens on Christmas Day!

I just think regular places like that should just be closed for one day so its workers can spend time with their families and loved ones 🤷‍♀️
