Should I leave ham in fridge or freezer?

Ok so I bought a ham for thanksgiving on Monday night and since then I’ve had it in the fridge. I’m not sure if I should put it in the freezer until thanksgiving or just leave it in the fridge? 🤔

I always put ham in the freezer until a day or two before. 2 days before you can defrost it in the fridge. 1 day before you leave it out in the morning and once it’s defrosted put it in the fridge. You can always season before putting it in the fridge and all you have to do is throw it in the oven for thanksgiving day or the night before thanksgiving.

It's not a good idea to leave meat in the fridge more than 5 days.

Put it in the freezer, then move it to the fridge the day before thanksgiving, that’s how my family always does it
