How do you know you have the right name for your baby?

We are having our second boy and we are having a very hard time deciding on a name. we have a few in mind we keep bouncing back and forth from one to another. how did you ladies figure out that the name that you chose for your child was the right name for them? before they're born.

We don’t lol. When I was pregnant with my first daughter we “named” her Caitlyn butttttt when she was born we looked at her little face and said “nope, she is not a Caitlyn”. We ended up with our second choice name which fit perfectly. Addison. 😊 so this time we are choosing 2-3 names to take to the hospital with us and we will decide once she (I’m having a second girl) is here. We also aren’t telling anyone our name choices this time either.

We are naming our son after our Grandfather’s. It was an easy choice I have wanted to use this name for years.

We decided on a list of possible names but still kept looking. I kept just coming back to the one name. Everything else I found was compared to this one name. It seemed to be the name I judged everything against and therefore became 'his'.

Hubby and I had the hardest time deciding. We had a name for a girl picked out, but once we found out we were having a boy, we went completely blank. We literally went through lists of thousands of names and still couldn’t decide. We finally, just 2 weeks ago at 20 weeks lol, found a name that we agreed on and I feel like it fits little man perfectly 💙

It took us forever to pick a name! We couldn't agree on anything. I finally mentioned one and my husband said "yeah I like it." We kept saying it out loud for a few days then decided it felt right!

It takes a while. At least for me. But this time around even with my doubts I’m sticking with it because I know when I start calling this baby his name for a little bit I’ll love it and it will feel perfect.
