Normal period or not

I have been pregnant before but this pregnancy was wayyy different. I experienced things i didn’t experience with my first baby. Anyway after i had my baby i bled for about 7 weeks and everything which is normal. Then 4 months later still no period and i was looking forward to it. Then boom i get it and it started last week on a Wednesday. First light bleeding then two days later medium bleeding and now heavy bleeding. I’m not on anything no birth control no nothing. And when i went into the bathroom today i was bleeding a lot and it was bright red which scared me. I feel pregnant all over again but i know I’m not. Never bled for a week and 2 days only when i was on birth control depo shot. I just wanted to know did anybody experience this and if did is this Normal or not
