Don't know!!!

Ladies I need help!! I can't tell if I'm in labor. Ok let me explain. This afternoon at around 2:20pm I had what feels like the baby dropping down lower (hard stomach too) and a gush of liquid came out with mucus. I had a few cramps but nothing serious. Come around 5ish started to have a contraction and I've been timing them but idk what an actual contraction feels like since my stomach is rock hard. I'm only going by the pain I feel on my back. My stomach is rock hard and I've had to do number two twice. Called nurse hotline, wasn't much help. Idk what to do. Please don't make me feel dumb or bash me I'm a ftm. Thank you
