as a mom of 3 am I selfish or unappreciative of my 3 because I want one more and every month I get super sad when the test is negative?

my husband says i need to be grateful for the 3 i already have.  And to stop crying it will Halloween if it's meant to be.  but i do love my kids and i am grateful I have them.  why can't he just be understanding...

I don't think he saying it to be mean or to not be understanding. He sees you torn up over it every month though so I think he just trying to say something to you to remind you what you do have and try to make you feel better.

I know how trying BFNs can be, so I get how that could make you emotional. But I can't fathom even wanting four kids, so I see where your husband is coming from about not being beat up over it. What happiness could a fourth child bring you that the first three haven't? I literally don't understand.

Honestly no you aren’t selfish girl. I had a friend tell me something along those lines as well. I have a wonderful son, who I am so thankful for and love to pieces but I want more children as well, that I am struggling to conceive. This friend said I should just be thankful that I have the one child and be content with that instead of stressing to give him siblings 😤. It’s definitely hurtful and frustrating because you love your child/children but if you have a dream family image in your head and heart, it still feels incomplete if you haven’t reached the point where you want to be. Don’t give up hope girl, and I hope everything goes well for you.
