A soldiers mom
My eldest of 2 joined the army straight out of high school (2017) and though I'm very proud of the adult decision he has made, I'm missing that kid like crazy.
But last week just when I was getting use to not seeing him or hearing his voice, my cell phone alerts me to a text and this was the photo I received. 5 minutes later I get a call from the same number and the voice said, Hi mommy, I love you and I'm coming home Dec. 15th
