How does this all work?

So first time tracking my basal temp, I got 97? Is that high or low? Could that mean I'm pregnant? My fertile period finished 3 days ago? If my temp goes down near my period does that mean af is coming x

Answer

For BBT to tell you anything you need to be watching a pattern. It is not something you can really compare to others as high and low temps because they are specific to you. It is recommended to track from end of AF to next AF. If after ovulation your temperatures stay high and don’t shift back down when she is getting close chances are you are probably pregnant.

So as an example my chart, I ovulated yesterday which is why my temp spiked so high today. From there I will be tracking my temp throughout my 2ww and hope it doesn’t go back down.
