Depo shot

Okay so I got my first depo shot in October, I was on my period when I got it. Here it is in November and I noticed that my period was just realy really light. And I know that’s an effect. But it seems like my period has lasted more than my usual length (5-6) days. Can it make it last longer since it’s light?
