I put my foot down right away that he was going to be the only one in the room during our baby's birth. It's our special moment and I wasn't going to be bullied into having anyone else in the room 🙅

I had my partner and my Aunty in during the contractions as planned but By the time it was time to push my mum was there and I was sooo effing glad she was!! After all the pain I endured mums face was another pain killer ❤️

Just my husband. With my son it was the same way and my MIL still came in the room even though the day before I was very adamant that it would only be me and my husband. I made her leave. I just couldn't focus on coping with the pain with her there. She tried coming back in to but I told the nurses not to let anyone in.

I’m having my SO and my mother with me. She used to be a midwife and it would mean the world to her to see me become a mum. My sister had her in the room for her second, and she said my mum’s eyes were all twinkly and proud lol.. also, my SO needs someone to hold him up 😉

Planned on it just being my husband and mom, but my sister ended up staying and I️ was ok with that in the end. Baby’s heart rate was up/down so there were about 8 hospital staff in the room while I️ delivered. I️ didn’t care, just wanted my little love here safe and sound.

My boyfriend (the father) and my best friend. Was planning on having my mum in there but she said she didn't want to be in the delivery room and I'm actually relieved, I love her but I think I'd be more stressed if she was actually in the room while I was giving birth.
