Maternity Clothes Rules??

Hi, stupid question here...
With Maternity Clothes am I right in thinking you get your normal size and then the material will stretch with you as your bump grows?? So it will see you through your whole pregnancy?

I would go up a size. I started showing early and ended up getting my regular size in shirts at like 20 weeks (S) - by 30/32 weeks I was even more huge and the S was definitely getting tight so I had to go out and get some M - way more comfortable! 
Of course everybody is different but I’m happy I ended up getting more in the next size up

For jeans I had to size down. The smalls were huge on me and I had to get xs.

I would buy one size up just in case. I used to wear a size small in tops and as my belly is growing the size small maternity tops seem like they are getting a little short. I am currently 33 weeks and wish I had bought a medium in more tops. My maternity jeans and leggings that are my pre pregnancy size fit just fine.

I was able to buy the size I already wear with pants.  shirts are a gamble. I'm only 20 wks though, so the real test is coming

It’s all dependent on the person and unfortunately you won’t know until you’re in the thick of it 💕
