I just have to share this story because my little angel growing inside me is not only a miracle but has healed me in every way a person can be healed.

This time last year, I was the sickest i have ever been (I was diagnosed with Crohn's when I was 15 and it was the worst last year) couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, couldn't go anywhere without getting sick, I endured amounts of pain that was unbearable daily, I even questioned God why I was here on this earth. I was constantly in doctors offices and hospitals. The one person who got me through this along with my amazing mother was my fiancé, always by my side and always taking care of me.

In March they finally decided to put me on remicade (an infusion to help get me to remission and make me feel better) I remember being petrified and Ofcourse not thinking it would work like all my other meds. I was also told that my body was so messed up that I wasn't fertile right now and the medication would make it worse, so when me and my fiancé wanted a baby it would be possible but it would be extremely hard and we would probably need extra help.

Fast forward to Easter Sunday, I felt amazing.I finally started feeling better. we came home earlier without our families, spent some time together and he was off to the police academy again. I thought the medication was giving me a "light period" and giving me "period like symptoms for a few weeks" finally went to the doctor and she tested me just in case and BOOM, I was pregnant.

She is my miracle, the absolute love of my life. She has healed me so much over the past few months that I have finally reached remission while she was growing inside me. She has saved me in more ways than I could imagine. I could not be more blessed and thankful and we are so excited for her arrival. This pregnancy is amazing, no horrible symptoms just pure happiness and bliss (plus the occasional swelling lol) I finally know why god put me through all that pain and suffering- to come out stronger and to be a mommy.
