has this happened to anyone else?

sometimes during sex it will feel like i’m being stabbed repeatedly in my area, but if we do missionary it’s fine or if i get on top it doesn’t hurt but if we go for to long it hurts, we recently tried a different type of condom, and it didn’t hurt it was actually the best we’ve ever done, could i be allergic to that type of condom??
