Its healing but . . .

Ok so I got my belly pierced 1 month ago and its healing great. There was all the normal first couple day swelling and stuff and the gross discharge and now theres a little less but theres still some at times. I would really like to change my piercing but I’m not sure if its all healed and ready to change yet. It kinda does hurt when I try to change it and its also really hard for me to try and unscrew the balls. Should I give it a couple more months before trying to change it ? (P.S I KNOW THERES DISCOLORATION AT THE TOP . ITS TOTALLY NORMAL . I DID MY RESEARCH.)
