How do I dom my man?

heyyy so my man and I have done some dom & sub play but he is always the dom. the other day he asked if I had ever been the dom before and if i would be willing to try. I have never been the dom but I am willing to try... I just don't have the slightest clue how to.  Any tips? pointers? comments? key things about doming as a female?       (his only limit he says is no ass insertion)

Okay so I guess this is a bit of an update~  so I took the advice of finding out what he likes, which was actually pretty easy to do subtly since we often talk about our past sexual sessions and our favorite things about it.      Then I did myself up nice and in an outfit that made me feel confident and sexy and that I knew for sure my man would find sexy. That way I could gather the confidence attitude and aura I needed.        Next, my man is pretty feisty and witty which makes it hard to get him to submit.. So I figured a good way to get the jump on that is to surprise him so that by the time he figures out what I'm up to, it's too late for him to make it too difficult so he can banter back and be naughty if he wants but he can't take over. firstly surprised him with the timing and my outfit. Then I played close to my normal role at first, acting sexy and teasing a bit and getting him to compliment me or atleast get an obviously aroused reaction from him that he cant deny then as he gets comfortable like "mm yeass" and about to get things started I grab the reigns first and push him back and cuff him and add some dominant and teasing words as I get to work and make it clear that tonight he is all mine so he might as well sit back and watch me take what's mine. Then just did what I knew he likes but with an attitude of I'm doing what I want, when I want and how i want. So yeah that's basically how it worked out fantastically for me.
