So I️ had my beautiful baby girl a little over a week ago and tore “a little bit” according to my doctor but enough to get stitches. Anyway I️ was feeling kinda weird and noticed a little more bleeding like fresh blood instead of mucusy blood which had started a few days earlier. I️ also felt something poking me down there so I️ took a mirror and looked. I️ saw something and thought it was like bunched up wet toilet paper but I️ felt it and it was like plastic and hard and was stuck on one side of my vagina. It’s still there and hasn’t come out but is it a cause of concern? I️ called labor and delivery and she said I️ should be good until Monday (called yesterday (Saturday)) and to call my Obgyn. I️ don’t think she believed me that it actually tore but I️ wasn’t able to see it before so I’m kinda scared she just dismissed it as me being paranoid. Anyway, my question is have any of you other moms tore stitches before? If so what did the doctor do about it? Is it an emergency situation? Can I still use those witch hazel pads cause I️ itch so bad 😂😂🙂
