Bad pregnancy, scary delivery, pregnant again...

My son is 6 months old and is a healthy, happy, perfect baby boy. My pregnancy with him was nothing short of a nightmare. At first, he had small kidneys, then I had low amniotic fluid no matter how much water I drank. I was one of those new moms who avoided every possible thing that someone found to be dangerous during a pregnancy. Then, I got diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I managed my diet and kept my numbers low with few exceptions. Finally, I went into labor... my water broke at 37 and 5 at 1am. I was rushed to the hospital and preceded to be in pain even with an epidural for 28 hours. Then, I began running a fever - and was rushed into a c section. I couldn't say I was surprised. However, during that c section - I felt almost everything because the pain was so severe my epidural wasn't working. I found out I had placental abruption with a blood clot under it and both I and my baby could've died.

Well here we are 6 months later... I'm pregnant again even with birth control and protection. Maybe it's gods plan. But I'm scared!! Someone please assure me that every pregnancy is different... 

Also - my doctor wasnt there for my delivery and she was amazing for every appointment. But do I go with the same doctor? Could this have been avoided? Or do I trust that she knows my history better than everyone else...
