my daughter and I have some health issues going on, other personal stressors, bills, Xmas, and just everyday shit. my bf and I been together for 2months and I'm considering breaking it off with him to be single and do me and focus on home. is this selfish of me? am I wrong?

You can break up with someone for any reason. It's not selfish. It's actually best for him to be cut loose if you're not that into it, too.

If he's not helping the situation, or especially if he's making the situation worse, it's not selfish at all. You have to do what's best for you and your child. If he is helping though, being loving and supportive, it might be best to keep him around. When life gets tough, we can usually use all the help we can get.
