Can laughter cause labor?

Okay this might sound silly but can your water break from laughter? With my first child my water broke out of the blue at 38 weeks. We just bought tickets to a comedy show that will take place when I am 36 weeks 5 days and I’m worried I’ll laugh so hard my water will break 😂 is that a thing? Does that happen? Haha I’m sorry if it’s silly just thought I’d ask

If your baby is ready yes! But certainly don't avoid laughing to avoid waters breaking

Laughing too hard won’t cause your water to break unless a) baby is ready or b) there’s another problem with your membranes, like infection. The amniotic sac is a lot stronger than we think, and it takes a lot to start labor at 36 weeks, unless the baby and the mom’s bodies are ready. I wouldn’t worry about it.
