We’re married?!?

Alright, so... I’m not sure about other states, but in Texas there’s this thing called ‘common law marriage’. There are only three requirements.

1. You have to agree to be married.

2. Live together as husband and wife.

3. Tell other people that you are a married couple.

So... Technically we meet all of the requirements.

1. We’ve agreed that we want to be married.

2. We’ve lived together for over a year and are expecting a baby.

3. We have both referred to the other as husband and wife multiple times (it’s easier to explain to people that we don’t know personally)

I guess I’m married now. 😂😂😂 And my ‘husband’ is acting like that was the plan aaaaaaall along.
