Help I need advice (thanks in advance)

Baby # 2 will be here soon. Currently our son sleeps in the room closest to us.But when #2 we would like to put him/her in that room. Our son will eventually share that room with #2 when he/she is sleeping through the night. We have a 3rd bedroom/current guest room. I know family with be visiting and staying so I want to keep it kind of set up like a guest room but have our son in there. I feel kind of bad not decorating it for him anymore that it already is. Even his nursery is modestly decorated ( I keeps things extremely simple & gender neutral -yellow & gray. It’s adorable don’t get me wrong but sometimes I wish I decorated like I pin on Pinterest lol

I wasn’t going to change anything until #2 comes along but maybe when we put our son back in the room.

Our son is 18 month roughly 20/21 months when sibling arrives.

Share a room?

Own room?

Decorate all out?

Decorate modestly?

Is it ok that I don’t want to decorate guest room for my son?
