First Cycle off BC, Don’t Know What’s Going On

Before going on BC, I was usually at a 30-32 day cycle. AF was last here Oct 15, 2 days after my last pill. H and I weren’t quite trying yet so I could figure out my cycle before officially TTC, but then we had sex the day before I found EWCM (Nov 6).

Now I’m on day 38, got a BFN today, no AF in sight. I’ve been nauseated for a few days, but there’s also a good chance that’s anxiety. I also have a weird metallic taste in my mouth.

How long would you give it before testing again? I’ve never been this late. At this point I just want to know if I’m clear for some wine at Thanksgiving because if I don’t, I know I’ll be getting questioned.
