When is the best time to try to conceive baby #2?

They say siblings closest in age have the closest relationships. Or is having babies back to back too much for new parents?

I️ wanted my children 2 years apart. We’ve been trying since my daughter turned 1 and she’s 2.5 now and we’re still trying.. sometimes you can’t plan these things exactly the way you want them. Next baby we’ll start trying when the baby is 6-7 months old.

Me and my younger sister are 6 years apart and we are very close. I also have siblings that are triplets, 2 girls, 1 boy that are 8 years younger than me and we are very close also. I thinks it's just all in how you were raised and has nothing to do with how many years apart you are.

My older sister and I are 3 years apart and we are fairly close. My little sisters are 6 and 9 years younger than me and I'm by far closer to them!! I felt like we were able to become closer because there was never any rivalry. No stealing each other's clothes or awkwardly having the same friend groups in high school. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I personally want to wait about 5 years because it can be too much for some. It’s definitely not easy. My brother and i are six years apart and it didn’t make us any less close and made it easier on my parents too. I️t all just depends on the couple and what they personally want

My daughters are 16 months apart. I wouldn’t change it for the world. You can do whatever you prefer. My girls are the best of friends and can’t go anywhere without the other. If you want them closer together than 2 years go for it. If you can afford to have them a year apart do it.
