Anyone have the best website or best advice for hsv. I was recent diagnosed with hsv-1 on my genital region. It has been about a week and a half since my first outbreak. Just curious but did anyone else experience intense lower back, thigh, and buttocks pain? I just want to learn more on herpes since I have no other support other than my school’s health center.

My boyfriend and I were not aware that he carried hsv-1 we just thought it was a pimple on his lip since it was a single outbreak. We had been together for 4 years and not once had I experienced an outbreak after oral sex. This has been extremely difficult getting the support I need since I don’t really have any other resource than my school’s health center.
