Adoption vs IVF

Looking to see what the experiences people have had with both have been and the pros and cons. Obviously we would prefer to have our own child naturally or with the help of IVF, however with the cost, it not being guarantee and the risks of surgery etc it's a tough decision. On the other hand adoption would be amazing to be able to love and care for a child who wouldn't have that otherwise, but I saw the cost could be 30000-50000 which is so much money! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
