Most embarrassing moment ever!!!
My husband and I went for genetic counselling today to see our options for my current pregnancy since my daughter passed away 7 months ago , 2 months after she was born because of a genetic condition called the Autosomal recessive disorder IL10 Receptor. Anyways , we were sitting with the doctors and they stepped out for a few mins to discuss a few things with the bone marrow transplant team . just than, I changed my posture on the chair and got up and sat back down and than i was like to my husband " ohhh shittttt, omgggggg omggggg". So he was like what's wrong babe ?" What happened ? I felt all that blood gushing down from my vagina and going down all the way to my ankles . I had to instantly get up even tho the blood wouldn't stop gushing out like no tomorrow and run to the washroom. I cleaned up and the doctors came after me to the bathroom to give me pads ( since my husband must've told them what happened ). When I headed back to the meeting room, my chair was all wet and bloody. I was soooo embarrassed! The male doctor kindly got a thick patient uniform and put it on top and made me take a seat. After 20 mins of sitting back down and than getting up to leave, that blue inform was ALL RED 😫😫😫😫 I felt horrible but the doctors were SUPER nice and made me feel SUPERRR COMFORTABLE telling me not to worry and the centre will help me out and give me anything I wanted. Right away they arranged a Ultrasound for me in their unit and fit me in. thank god my baby is normal and had a heartbeat. My husband was all happy again seeing the baby's hands and feet moving. He was so disappointed when he seen the blood but he looked at me and smiled when he seen the baby moving and the heart beating . Innocently he asked the technologist for the baby's gender; but ofc M too early ! Only 10 weeks along .
Anyways, the blood was all watery and thin. No blood clots so I guess that's a good sign. But it's very unusual for me to bleed like that as my first pregnancy was a piece of cake ! The technologist did see some internal bleeding in my stomach area but she said the baby looks completely fine . :) has this happened to anyone else ??? I'm still concerned .
