31 weeks & 2cm dilated

So yesterday I had some discharge that wasn’t normal. I thought it was probably my mucus plug but I had a dr appt today so I thought it was probably no big deal. Today I went in for my visit and my dr decided to check me to make sure everything was okay. Well when she checked she found out I was 2cm dilated. I was sent to labor and delivery where I was monitored for contractions but I didn’t have any so they let me go home. Anybody else start to dilate early? Did you deliver early? I have had two early babies in the past 34 & 36 weeks. But I’m only 31 weeks and I’m a mess knowing my son could come any day. At this point I’m just praying I can keep my son in for at least another 6 weeks. 🙏🏽
