Holding baby too much?

Question

I hold my baby a lot. And when I say a lot I mean I prolly hold her at least 18-20 hours a day. 
I have been getting little comments from mom that I need to put her down sometime. 
I’m on my last week of maternity leave. She will be my only child. They are only little for a small amount of time. I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong. 
Yes I give her tummy time, play time, bonding time with daddy. But other than that she’s mostly with me. 
Who holds their baby all day long? I can’t be the only one.

I also hold my girl most of the day! She gets her tummy time and loves her mat with toys but other then that she’s on me. 
There is nothing more frustrating than people who say “you know they need to learn to cry a little” or “they are never going to learn to self soothe”. Yeah, we’ll worry about that later. :)

I used to hold my baby all day everyday. Recently, however, he’s wanted his independent time in his swing or rock n play. Don’t worry about spoiling your baby with your love. She’ll let you know when she’s ready to be put down for a bit 😊

Same! I’ve been told time and time again that you can’t spoil a newborn so love on them as much as they want 💕
