2 month old fighting sleep

I have a very easy baby, usually sleeps through the night. however, the last week she has been fighting sleep. what can help this? i hate the whole "crying it out" thing, I'm terrible about picking her up every time she cries. we've tried binkies, sometimes her swing works, but most of the time I have to rock her to sleep and even then she won't stay asleep sometimes once i put her down. please help lol
