Baby Shower Date?!

I’m 23 weeks & will be 24 weeks on Monday. I’m very confused about when I should have my baby shower, When do you think is the best time to have your baby shower?

I’m doing mine December 16th since all my family will be in town for the holidays. I’m due March 9th

January! It gives everybody time to get through the holidays then if you're planning on setting up a baby registry you'll know what you still need after Christmas. But it's still early enough to give you time to get everything organized and make sure you have everything you need before your due date.

I’m doing mine in February about a month before I have my baby. I’m due March 21

I decided on February because it would be a good full month after the holiday madness, where not only people are exhausted but also broke lol 
Im due March 18th so February 18th sounded perfect and gives us and my family time to recover from holiday spendings and what not to throw a party.

I know it's "early" but 1. I want to get his room done now! and 2. my sister happens to be visiting from across the country and I want her to be there and I know she wants to be there too!

I live in Florida, but my family lives in upstate New York. My step mom is throwing a shower 1/13 and my Florida shower will be the beginning of February.
