My boyfriend is addicted to porn

So my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years. Since last August (2016), our sex life went to shit. I could barely get him to have sex with me once a week and he would tell me I just have a crazy sex drive. (I think it’s normal to at least want sex twice or three times a week). And then in November we were going to have sex and he became soft before he even put it in. After that we had sex once a month. Then is progressed to every two months.... and now I am 4 months without any sex (including foreplay and oral). He went to doctors to try to figure out the issue and he just recently found a therapist that knows what is going on... my boyfriend confessed to me that he has a porn addiction. I was so hurt. This entire year we couldn’t have sex and it was because he was watching too much porn. After crying for a bit I told him I would do whatever it takes to help him stop and I really do. However, I just don’t know how to understand it or help him. I’ve put a lock on his phone so he can’t have the social media’s where he could find porn or tumblr and he can’t use safari (to search for porn or pics). I don’t know if any of you have ever went through this but I would truly appreciate some guidance and reassurance that our love life isn’t over and ways to help. It’s also kind of weird because he says he would watch porn and not even masturbate (he masturbates sometimes but not every time). He also says he likes pictures more than videos, so he can’t be on Tumblr anymore either. Everything I’ve read is about men being addicted to masturbating or addicted to watching porn videos but he says it’s not really like that, he just says looking at it and watching it makes him feel good. Idk what to do and I feel like I can’t talk to anyone because it’s embarrassing for both of us. So I came here to post anonymously asking for help and support. If you have ever gone through this please let me know I’m not alone. I’ve never even thought porn addiction was a real thing until I was researching about it tonight.
