Cloth diapers or disposable?

Being a first time mom, I had my mind on The typical disposable diapers, but I recently discovered the world of cloth diapers so I just want to know which would be better. I feel disposable diapers only because it’s just more easier and simple just to throw out and Grab another without the hassle of Extra steps of a cloth diaper

My daughter is 20 months and we’re 5 weeks from having our second. I’ve cloth diapered since the beginning and will with the second. It’s literally an extra load of laundry every other day. It’s not a big deal. Very easy, super cheap, better for the environment. A pack of 6 diapers with inserts is $30 on Amazon. Get 3 packs. Here’s the key: Cloth Diaper Liners. They look like dryer sheets and catch 90% of solids. So you just toss or flush the liner and that’s it. I keep disposable diapers handy and in the diaper bag just because it’s easier when running errands, but when at home, it’s cloth. No biggie.

I work at a daycare and one of my kids uses cloth diapers, I can understand it does save some money but at the same time it really is kinda gross. if you don't really want to touch poo I would suggest disposable. I was thinking the same thing but after working with this kid I would rather just spend the money.

Going disposable right out the gate. I️ applaud those who do cloth, but I️ don’t handle bodily fluids well and I️ just know myself - emptying out poppy diapers 10x a day will send me overboard on the “this is too much!” scale. Plus our child will be going to daycare after my leave and I️ think they require disposables.

It depends on a lot of factors, the price your willing to pay upfront, how you'll clean them, wether or not your up for the cleaning, etc.

As a first time mom, I'm going to have a lot to learn and get used to in the beginning. So for the first couple of months, I plan to use disposable so I have one less stressor while I'm focused on keeping my baby alive and safe. But once we get a routine down and I feel comfortable, I plan on switching to cloth.
