OK so we are a Jewish/Christian engaged couple. well actually we are both agnostic but raised different religions. I thought it wouldnt be a problem but lately he has bringing up how he thinks religion can be good for teaching kids morals and values. He says teaching them two different religions could confusing for small children. I personally don't care about religion. I haven't been to church in decades and have no desire to go. he hadn't been to temple in 20 years and hasn't celebrated Hanukkah in that time. I don't know what to do. he's scaring me and making me think maybe we shouldn't be together. I want to cry because I can't imagine my life without him. I don't know what to do. it's isn't fair. why couldn't I have been born Jewish so I could be with him??? I am so sad. I don't understand why he is even making this an issue. we both stated we weren't religious in the very beginning. he stated he was atheist.
