Gel nail polish at salon?💅🏼

So i used to always get my nails done at the salon with gel polish but haven’t since ive been pregnant because I’m not sure if it’s ok. They use a UV light for it obviously, so that’s what I’m  worried about. Anybody know anything about this and if it’s safe or not?

Jamberry’s gel is 8 Free and the light is less strong than the ones at a salon. My sister used it all throughout her pregnancy with no issues. She liked that it didn’t have a strong smell. The ingredients list is on the website if you want to ask your doctor.

My ob said no gel nail polish. But she’s super conservative. Even coloring your hair should be done sparingly after 2nd trimester, according to her. Well my cute blonde highlights I did before 1st appt— at 9wks. Whoops already messed up.

Im 33 weeks pregnant and get my nails done all the time. You’re fine. I even asked my OB who said it’s okay. It’s only under extreme circumstances that anything could even happen to you. It’s just the fumes they are worries about making you light headed.
