I would really love to invite my friends to my baby shower but we don’t have enough space in my home for them and my family to host them together.

It is also too expensive to rent a hall and no one else’s home is big enough to borrow.

I was thinking of doing a 12pm to 6pm “walk through” casual baby shower for my friends so I can invite them and get to sit down and talk to all of them and then have my family come from 6pm and on.

Does that make sense or is it a dumb idea?

TO BE CLEAR: My friends are all in college so this isn’t for a gift grab. I don’t expect ANYTHING in the form of gifts from any of them.
