Do you ALWAYS have to use baby water?

My son is 8 months old and we still use baby water for his formula. Can we start using our well water now that he is older? Anyone know?

My whole family only drinks distilled or spring water. I just get the willies about well or public water for drinking.

Our baby is 1 and we still use bottle water... I guess we will switch eventually but it still feels too soon for me 😂

Well water usually has a lot of great extra minerals but you would need fluoride supplements

Depends on your well. Is there a filtration system ? Well water can be really good or really bad. It’s not tested such as city water. City water isn’t all that great either because of chlorine etc but it’s tested regularly. I would have the well tested and then use it . The well should be tested anyways every few years. We have a reverse osmosis system so our water is good.

you can start using your normal well water, but you need to get a flouride supplement from your pediatrician.

I'm unsure what baby water is but I've always been advised to use cooled boiled water. Make sure it's mixed within 30 minutes of boiling.
