Is it ok to refuse used ( second hand or third hand ) baby gifts from co-workers?

Just kindly decline and say you’re already sorted for the baby. I personally don’t like to accept second hand baby stuff either, it’s each to their own.

I said no. If it’s a gift and treated as such, then accept it and donate it yourself.
If they ask you if you’d like something, then you can politely decline saying “we already have something similar” or “thank you very much, but I doubt I’d use that. Someone else will love it more.”

If it's small stuff, just take it and donate it. If it's larger, simply tell them you're purchasing said item but thanks for the offer.

If it’s in good condition I accept it. My friend just gave me two garbage bags of clothes from her little girl it was her first and only child and she took all the stained pieces out and washed the rest and brought them to me. The only time I don’t accept is from smokers. We don’t smoke so I don’t want clothes that smell like smoke that just doesn’t come out.
