dogs and pregnancy

has anyone else heard that dogs can "sense" pregnancy? I've read a lot about it and it all boils down to the dog being more protective because they can sense the change in hormones.

so of course now it's in my head because my dog has been extra clingy the last few days. he follows me everywhere like a shadow and will lay on my feet while I use the bathroom or switch laundry. any move I make he watches me and if I leave the room he's right next to me.

AF is supposed to come on the 28th but I tested this morning and it was a hard negative. I've never seen a test that white 😂 I suppose it could still be too early to test, I've had a few symptoms as well but I wanted to see if anyone else experienced their dog change when they were pregnant.
